[Author Bio]

Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas are the founders of Zentangle. Rick has a rich and diverse work experience across various industries, including a 17-year period as a monk. Before encountering Zentangle, Maria was a well-known local typography artist and botanical illustrator. The two founders discovered Zentangle through a chance yet inevitable encounter. They created a ritualistic creative process for Zentangle art, designed its basic elements, and hope that through this simple yet beautiful art form, more people can awaken their inner artist, experience each moment, and enjoy the joy of creation in a stress-relieving and tranquil state.

The Good Heart Art team, together with several CZT members, spent nearly a year translating the original English version of *Zentangle Primer Vol. 1*. The entire team meticulously refined the translation, carefully considering the founder's shared fundamental Zentangle concepts, methods, basic creative steps, and techniques for continuous practice. Their aim was to clearly and accurately convey this simple yet magical art form to readers in familiar Chinese, using more easily understood vocabulary. They hope that readers will pick up a pen and practice the exercises in the book step by step, experiencing the joy and beauty that Zentangle brings to life.

As the only authorized professional organization in Asia for Zentangle, Inc. to host the CZT-Asia Seminar and the official representative of Zentangle, Inc. in Asia, Good Heart Art has been committed to promoting Zentangle art in Asia. Since 2016, Good Heart Art has been organizing the CZT-Asia Seminar and zenAgain Asia events.
