2024 holds a particularly significant meaning for Zentangle, as it marks its 20th anniversary since the first officially released Zentangle course. To commemorate this important milestone, we felt it was fitting to dedicate a whole year to the celebration. We will be using Zentangle Project Pack No. 23 to pay tribute to those original strokes, as they are the origins of the Zentangle method.

We'll return to where Rick and Maria first embarked on this journey, a journey so profound that they knew from that moment on that it was a gift to be cherished and nurtured. One day in 2003, the stars seemed to align themselves in a single instant. Rick and Maria weren't specifically looking for anything, but perhaps, in a way, Zentangle was looking for them. From the very beginning, Rick and Maria knew these things would continue to flourish in unimaginably beautiful ways, and they were further motivated to carefully cultivate them. In our collaborative creation of PP23, we'll revisit some classic stories, revisit some early patterns and techniques, and integrate new discoveries.

This PP23 will contain many precious, gorgeous, and decorative surprises, revisiting some valuable historical traces while extending into some interesting creative challenges. The final piece in PP23 will not only recount the history of Zentangle, but also showcase another important perspective: you will be sharing and appreciating these beautiful works as an artist or creator.
